Project Management: The Art Of The Possible
While there can be any number of reasons why meeting completion and budget targets is impossible, CM Company simply doesn't accept them. For us, project management is the art of the possible-doing those things that keep a project within the constraints of time, budget and quality from ground breaking through warranty...and beyond.
"Law and Order"
At the outset of a project CM Company develops a detailed "critical path network" and short interval schedules, a site material handling plan, and a material control schedule. To avoid construction conflicts, we develop mechanical and electrical coordination plans, assist in securing the necessary permits and approvals, and coordinate construction activities with all local and state building authorities and utility companies.
Like the town marshals of old, CM Company's managing superintendents and project managers maintain "law and order" through rigorous project supervision. They coordinate, control and document daily site activities, including those of all subcontractors. To keep both the owner and the design team appraised of construction status, CM Company schedules and conducts construction meetings and provides the project team with information on all phases of the project, at whatever level of detail is appropriate.

For more than 20 years, CM Company has perfected a process for smooth, uneventful project close-outs. No other general contractor or construction management company matches us in the detailed preparation of job completion lists, or in coordinating with subcontractors, owners and architects to develop and execute project close-out plans.
